Our company plans to apply the technology of electric wheelchairs that we have cultivated over the past approximately 50 years to develop base units (electric mobility base units and electric carts) that utilize the know-how of electric wheelchairs as the mobility platform for various applications.
So far, these have been used as the mobility platform for collaborative robots, transport robots, autonomous delivery robots, snow removal robots, and agricultural robots.
Suzuki's electric cart features independent motors for the rear wheels and has suspensions on all four corners, allowing for high off-road capability and, unlike many AMRs and AGVs, it can operate outdoors.
